Jonathan, aged 10, wanted £100 very much and prayed for weeks but nothing
happened.

So he decided to write God a letter asking for the £100. The Royal Mail received the letter addressed to God, United Kingdom and they decided to send it to the Prime Minister, Tony Blair.

The
Prime Minister was so impressed, touched and amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a £5 note. Mr Blair assumed this would be a lot of money to a little boy.

Jonathan was delighted
with the £5 note and sat down to write a thank you letter to God, which read:

Dear God,

Thank you very much for sending the money, however, I noticed that for some reason you had to send it through Downing
Street and the Government and, as usual, those crooks deducted £95.00.
