The Name Qashqai

Much research goes into naming cars, and the Nissan Qashqai is no exception.
The unusual word Qashqai has only seven letters and appears to be a made-up
name.  It is possible to confuse it with Qashquai.  While the Nissan
Qashquai does not exist, the Qashquai are a nomadic tribe who roam in Turkey.
You could think of the Qashqai as Persians, they certainly speak Farsi.

Incidentally, Guy keeps wanting to call this car the Nissan Quashqai.
